a special moment for a small city boyby rozComment: Precious picture. Great models. Nice composition. I might have tried to lighten a bit so the lighting on the boy & horse was brighter and not blend so much with the shadows. |

fall balesby aberrationComment: Nice sense of depth to photo. Love the detail you were able to bring out in the mountains, and the pop of color with the barn. The dip in the far line of the harvested area in the center of the photo seems to add interest. Only nit-pick is the tree in front of the white door on the barn. |

Through the Benchby namComment: Creative idea. I like the idea of the three different color areas of the background. The image as a whole comes across as random ("dutch perspective"? - the background color areas don't seem to serve any purpose, the angle of the holes do not align horizontally or vertically or diagonally - in fact, it looks like your shot is through the curve between the back and seat of the bench. |

Pickleball Maniaby HUETHComment: I love the idea! You have some very nice parallelism going on in the background with the white stripes, green and blue parts, and the black line (bottom of fence?), and the two vertical posts. The drops of water on the table top are a very nice, but subtle, addition. The triangle formed by the table edge, white line and blue area makes a nice pointer to draw the eye towards the center of the picture. To me, the green of the table and the green of the ball don't work together. Something seems off in the dof - somehow I want the top of the ball to seem more in focus. Dirt on the ball is a distraction. The horizon (edge of table) not being level also works against the image. It'd also be worth exploring to align the one post and the center of the ball on a vertical axis, or to center the ball between the two vertical posts (camera slightly more to the left or right). |
