Wild Flowersby dtremainComment: Sharp and nice colours. Maybe I would crop it some, the purplish background flowers steals my attention from the yellow (sunflower?) one. |

prints of jupiterby klkitchensComment: Really nice colours in this, especially above the roll where it's not blown out. A rather unusual subject which is interesting! The shadow in the upper right corner bothers me a little, would maybe have used a slightly tighter crop to get rid of it. I'm curious as to why the hues are different below the roll, is this due to the lighting, or because it was taken with phone? |

Freedom Runby littlemavComment: They be lookin' a bit grumpy... I wish I could see where this freedom is. Is there an opening? From this POV, they almost seem to be running towards the fence. I like that the horses are well illuminated despite the dark surroundings. |

Tampere flowers 3by wejnaComment: Originally posted by salmiakki: Oh, you were in Tampere. What a pity. We could have had a mini get together. It's not often I see DPCers in this part of the world! |
Oh, too bad I didn't know that at the time. My brother Weine lives there though, he's also DPChallenged... err, I mean, a proud member of this upstanding society! /innocent smile

Staying independent by jagarComment: This is such an amazing photo. Out of the ones in this challenge, this has the most impact for me. I can see the actual struggle to stay independent and not having to rely on social services or relatives, or even being forced to leave a loved home and move to a nursing home. I hold this higher than the countless flags, parades or fireworks in this challenge - simply because this is an actual on-going struggle for a lot of people, and not something that took place several hundred of years ago.
I had decided not to vote in this challenge (due to how I feel about said flags and fireworks), but I think I have to anyway, just so I can give this the score it deserves. 10! |

Clown of the Seaby SiggavComment: Ooooh, I *love* puffins. They look so adorable and colourful, yet with a kind of dignity - oh, err, did I mention I really love puffins?
This looks very idyllic - a zen puffin, if I ever saw one. |

Would rather be running...by wejnaComment: Originally posted by posthumous: impressive to get this effect in minimal. I want to hear how you did it. |
No post-processing part from resizing, so it was all done with ye olde camera mounted filters! I hope that is legal in Minimal, I forgot to check... /sidles away |
