Day 6 - Wild Plastic Frog

Nice bright colors on a gloomy day. Maybe landscape mode with all of the legs and leaving space for the frog to jump would be good.

I'm not sure what the object of interest is here, the papers or the York candy. Maybe it's about eating the candy to help you get through the presentation. I think seeing one whole York and the other opened with a bite out of it may be more interesting.

Too much white space for me. The keys are too small in the picture. Try cropping closer to the keys, but leave the door handle in to orient to the location. Maybe an angle to the side and/or up/down would be nice.

Day 6 - Shell Jar

Yes, it does look like a bulb within a pile of shells, but I see it's a negative now. Good cropping.

I saw your note about comments on yesterday's experiment. I totally missed it yesterday, and just went back to see it. It really touched me, and seeing the comment about it needing a story I added a possible one. It might be fun to create different stories about some of these pictures.

Day 5 - Smiley

Smiley was overjoyed when he was adopted by his masters Jim and Harriet at a truck stop gift shop in Wichita. He enjoyed all of their adventures going to Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, The Great Smokey Mountains, New Orleans, Miami Beach, and he would never forget crossing the Queensboro bridge and seeing the Empire State Building. Then one day, in Micco Florida, Jim, Harriet and Smiley pulled into a place that had lots of homes like his. They were looking at a big, shiny, new home that the guy must have owned. Then a funny thing happened. Jim and the man shook hands, and the man got into Jim, Harriet and Smiley's home and drove to the back of the place with all the homes. Smiley kept waiting for his masters to return. He waited and waited day after day. Of course, donut dolls are eternal optimists. They don't think they are missing a hole in their middle, but that something will be coming soon to complete them. Their future is so bright they've gotta wear shades. Smiley was sure Jim and Harriet were planning the bestest trip of all. Weeks turned into months and then years, and Smiley's home started getting a bit rusty in the back of the lot of homes, but Smiley keeps looking out the window just knowing that one day Jim and Harriet are going to be coming around the corner, smiling at Smiley and jumping back in for the next big trip. He just wishes it would be soon, because he really misses them.

As long as we're all voting, I very much agree 2 is better with the twisted bend being much better than the "rainbow" bend of 1 and a better angle on the in-focus part.

Day 5 - Visit From Mr. Sock Monkey

I love sock monkeys. Great focus and sharpness. I like how he (she) is looking in from the side of the picture, but maybe you shouldn't have clipped the ear. Nice black background.
