I like the idea of this shot, but the backgroud isn't quite right. Cropping out the top so you don't see the top of the curtains would help and would also focus attention towards the face/pose.

A nice spot but lighting looks like a flash is hitting the foreground and this unbalances the exposure over the scene as a whole. Would have been nice to see the snow as an even blanket of white to add to the mood of the shot.
