release meby TheDruidComment: I really don't know Ben's style well enough to draw comparisons so I am just going to comment on your photo to the best of abilities - sorry :(
When I opened your shot to full view I just went wow .. it's quite a feat and technically very well done. The complete opposite of the top of the shot as far as focus goes is amazing and very creative. I imagine you are scoring very high with this one ... Good Luck (but you don't need it) |

Lost Souls...by impressionsrheaComment: I don't know enough about Ben's work to compare styles so I won't try to do so.
This evokes an image in my mind of an aerial view of Stonehenge. What a great shot - interesting textures and a wonderful range of tonal qualities. This should do very well ... Good Luck! |

hanging onby liangdaweiComment: I don't know enough about Ben's work to compare styles so I won't try to do so. What a great find - poor little ladybug has had such a climb that I hope there is something good waiting for it at the top and not the beak of some hungry bird. Wonderful b/g and a great job of having it so crisp I can see the tiny bits of the stem. Good luck! |

untitledby 4trtoneComment: What a wonderful abstract! It looks like a woman's gown being tossed about in the water or the curtain coming down on a wonderful ballroom dancer. I don't know enough about Ben's work to compare styles so I won't try to do so. However, the shapes and tonal quality gives my brain license to come up with all sorts of scenarios which is something I love when viewing these types of shots. Just spectacular - I hope you do very well with this! |

California Dreamingby jfritz27Comment: Color! And such beautiful color too! Beautiful hues and I love the quality of the water. Great job getting it so silky given how bright it is. I love the people (children?) on the cliff - they turn this shot into a story. The wet rocks shine in the light and the varying colors please the eye. I don't know Ben's work well enough to compare the style but hope you do very well with this beautiful shot. |

"What belongs to others we don't want, what is ours we will never surrender"by KonadorComment: Ohh I love these old buildings. The bird in the sky adds an extra point of interest as well. I am no expert on Ben's work so I will not comment on that aspect of your photo - sorry :( However, excellent choice of B&W, great shadows and textures galore. The tilt/lean of the towers really add to the composition and I like the tall banks behind as there is so much detail in them. The slight vignette works well. Well seen and photographed. |

Visual Artby jbrightComment: Great textures and shapes and I like the light on the right middle column. I am no expert on Ben's body of work so no comment as to how it fits his style. I do find some of the whites lack texture which might hurt your score but the interesting shape of the building and the angle you composed the shot from should make up for most of the points you could potentially lose for that. You had a difficult exposure challenge to overcome with the dark skies and the white tiles. I hope you do well. |
