What a lovely shot - the colors are so rich and the oof foliage is amazing. I think that film must be a wonderful lesson is patience also it's like waiting for a gift - when it arrives it's even better than you thought.

I love dogs and this girl is a beauty - great job getting her fur so crisp .. I also agree with sulamk about lightening the dog's eye - a bit of dodging would make her beautiful face jump right out .. I can see that there is already a catch light in her left eye so dodging it would be easy to do. For 6 months she is definitely going to be a bog dog with long legs .. just a darling - thanks for the beautiful photo - I could look at dogs all day.

A very noticeable difference and all for the good - the bird looks as if it's flying in a molten sky - still have good detail in the bird and the extended talons add such a strong contrast to the silky sky. Nicely done.

What a beautiful shot and the lighting is amazing. Your daughter has flawless skin and a beautiful face. You did an excellent job (as did she) in making her look like Twiggy ... I wish I knew my lighting system as well as you do. Of course, I don't take the time to study all the tips at strobist and other such sites. I learn so much better from watching. But getting back to you - kudos for creating this photo.

Yes, better - there are so many interesting lines and textures to look at .. I love the reflection of the chrome table leg on the floor .. it's all in the details and you shot has a lot of great ones.

My candid street type shots never look this good - your pping on this is stellar. Your subject matter keeps me interested as a story begins in my mind. Great exposure, processing and composition - what more is there for me to say - excellent.

Lovely - you did an excellent job of incorporating all the technical advice given and it shows - this shot doesn't have the set up look the other one did .. it looks as if it is a wonderful decoration in someones home. I agree with Ann and the others that you might improve it a tad more if you utilize their suggestions but as it stand, I would give it a very high vote.
