There is a bit of what looks like over sharpening (before blurring...), best seen on the cactus to the left (white lines on the outlines). Looks like youi have oversharpened the image and then blurred it. Colors are great and the subjects are great as well. I think you should have skipped the sharpening, everything else is great.

Good shot. The background isn't the best one for this kind of shot, the hair all blends into it (at least on my screen). White clothing all blend as well, but that isn't a bad thing.

Great lighting, like the purple/blue mixture. I would think this shot would need a lot of work, with the black foreground and what looks like running water (that probably needs a lot of light), great execution. Like it, best yet.

Good subject, I'm quite thankful for my Canon as well. Like the limited DOF. I probably would have cropped it differently, but I don't think the crop is way off.

Excellent capture - 10! (Next best image got an 8) Not that it bothers me, but the subjects shirt looks like this is splash no. 2. Would imagine that this kind of shot would need a few go's. Nice job on the background. Hope you win.
