dead curvesby jbruno1397Comment: The lack of direct lighting onto the heads of the flowers really helps emphasise the dead / dying aspect, but I would prefer a little more focus on the petals. |

Protective Graceby superdneComment: Nice repetition, but the eye is drawn more to the copper-colour behind, rather than the ironwork. |

On bended kneeby khanhxComment: An unsual perspective, and good contrast between the lines of the calf and the curve of the muscle. |

Reaching Archesby mykolearyComment: You've caught the light very well, and the leafless branches make it appear as though they are trying to encrouch upon the clean lines. |

Guitar Curvesby pnichollsComment: I like the angle of this, but the little scrap of flecked blue in the botton corner makes me want to see more of that part of the guitar. |

Beer Googlesby ManicComment: Thanks for all the comments! This was my first challenge entry, and it's score reflects reasonably accurately my current skills (complete newbie). I made the photo in a bit of a rush, hence my hand is in shot and the lighting is flat and badly coloured, but I now know for next time to spend a little more time in preparation! And for those of you who commented on the lack of beer, I tried it with beer afterwards, and it just flattened the reflective curves inside the glass, so I had to drink the beer ;o) |

Razor Curvesby jsgfComment: Harsh lighting and clear focus really pick up the barbs. Maybe if you'd taken the shot angled slightly more to the right, it would clear the foreground blur. |

Sprocketby RoninComment: The monochrome makes for a good industrial effect, but the bottom part of the sprockets are very dark and a bit indistinct. |

cd822by eyegoComment: The blue lighting is great, but its a shame that the cds in the background aren't angled to reflect the light into the lens as well as the front ones do. |
