Welcome to Bronte Countryby obsidianComment: The bizarre colors make for an interesting effect, but it's too unnatural for my taste. Also the glow around the tree-tops on the far right is too obvious. And the horizon looks tilted. |

Pittsburghby alanfreedComment: Hey, unfair, my city didn't have any fireworks this week! Very nicely caught and well composed. I just wish the darks were darker, to really give the city lights and fireworks full contrast. In particular, even the darkest parts of the sky still look grayish-brown on my display, rather than jet-black. |

66°Northby Ragga2000Comment: Antarctica beach at 66 deg North?!? I'll assume this is an Icelandic beach, i.e. an Arctic one. But enough quibbling, the colors and light are excellent. The glow around the outline of the mountains is distracting, but otherwise a great photo. |
