Too bad folks would smash this fellow without thinking, since tarantulas in this area are generally not a threat :-( Ah well, gotta love we humans and our phobias!

Fabulous capture! I love the limited palette of deep red and green with the black background. Mr. hopper who is so beautifully green and well lit to boot is perfectly framed in that velvety rose. Hubby can tease away (I'm used to similar teasing) but who cares when the result is this!
