Sunset Cliffsby firstkissComment: There's a certain "inner glow" and quality of light in the clouds that I love about this photo, as well as its beautiful tones. However, I think it is hurt somewhat by the very narrow aspect ratio. |

Ouchby JudiComment: Excellent photojournalism effort. This is truly a photo that I can see out in the real world on magazine covers or in papers (unlike most of the eye candy at DPC). However, I think you've done "eye candy landscape" processing on it. The colors are too saturated and the strong vignetting looks out of place. When you have a picture like this I would say you want to keep it realistic and dynamic, and your processing does neither of those. |

Purpleby freakin_hilariousComment: I like how most of the subject is out of focus, allowing the viewer's imagination to complete the picture. |

Tiltedby IznastYComment: The pose and toning are very good, but I feel the door is distracting and doesn't add anything to the image. |

tree dropsby J-AndyComment: Seems to be a couple of verses in photographic form... very expressive. Excellent exposure catching great highlights in the drops and good toning as well. One of the very few cases I've seen where this kind of border works well too. Why so small though? Takes so much away from what's otherwise a great photo with a unique look. |

FFby CorySmithComment: The pose and composition are very good. The lighting is interesting, splitting the picture in two distinct parts. I like the effect, somehow it doesn't look unnatural. |

Piano Keysby rickhd13Comment: This a beautiful study of an easy to overlook detail. Very gritty - without the title it would have been hard to figure out. Texture looks like it could be wood or other things. |

Last days of winter.by anferhComment: Interesting choice to go high key and drop the background altogether... However, the tiny specs that are still visible make me wonder if the image could have been more interesting with more of the background in. Your subject is very expressive and well captured. |

Bridge of Sighsby gazdiComment: Excellent B&W conversion and processing, and use of powerful yet subtle tones. |

The Tiberby AranchaComment: Hmmm... the second excellent Tiber image in this challenge, both of them in B&W with very similar tones. I wonder if you guys are friends :) Very good composition with a little bit of stone foreground leading to the bridge, and of course a fantastic sky in the back. |
