Follow me by WindtaleComment: Wow Paolo, a Blue in the Free Study! You ARE the man!
Excellent composition, with the S-curve leading the eye to the center and the climber there... The B&W conversion works very well as well... Congratulations! |

Migrationby kawesttexComment: Let me add my voice to the people who love this shot - it obviously stands out in the challenge, probably the only image from this challenge that I will remember a month from now. But also it is a great image in its own right, regardless of challenge descriptions and so on. The composition is beautiful, with the lines leading me through the image and making me read it in its entirety before finally resting on the lake and trees. The tones and muted contrast is just fantastic, and the grain contributes to the image as well. Congratulations on a very good shot. |

Snow monkeyby UrfaKComment: This is my work monitor which is set to high contrast, so most pics don't look as good as they otherwise would. So this one looks a bit too contrasty; I would also say it's slightly over-sharpened.
What's even worse though is what looks like JPEG artifacts on the face. I'm guessing that the square-ish aspect ratio and the sharpened picture resulted in a large file size which forced you to save with a low JPEG quality setting to meet the size requirement. On this contrasty monitor, it kind of shows.
As a suggestion, maybe sharpen the tree less? It both kills your file size and distracts attention from your subject... |

now and into the futureby grigrigirlComment: Fantastic shot. I loved their expressions, the old couple in the background and the reflection in the window. The only thing I didn't like (so a 9 not a 10 from me) was the "Fine Art" inscription, I found it distracting. Anyway, congrats on a great, but very underrated shot. |

Through the Setting Sunby tano_goochComment: A moment in time... only happened once and it's never coming back. It's not the pose that makes it seem that way to me... it's the shadow. It's like everything, including the sun, has conspired to make this moment exist. And you captured it. 10 from me. |

The Dark I Know Wellby wanjunComment: A perfect portrait... The pose, the expression, the lighting, all combine to make you want to know more about this special person. I like the duotone as well, and even the skin texture adds to the image. 10 from me and my pick for yellow ribbon. |

Moonlight Serenadeby AlexSaberiComment: Very beautiful - tremendous composition and tones.
Coming back for a second comment... the mist, the tones, the silhouettes, everything about this image seems to work perfectly together. 10 from me, as well as my pick for red ribbon... |

Under the moon lightsby ccraftComment: I love how she's looking in a different direction, even though he is looking at her. Perfect composition, lighting and poses. But mostly this image speaks to me of time, people, how we spend our lives and how others are an integral part of it... very "deep" image... 10 from me, as well as my pick for blue. |

Moonlight by StructorComment: Great composition, with the center rock hiding the brightest part of the sky. You took one of the biggest problems of very long night exposures and turned it around to your advantage. |
