Curiosityby sudhiComment: The light in this image has a fantastic quality... It make you wonder what's behind the window, it's glowing, and yet somehow it focuses the viewer on the subject. The little patch of color is the soul of this image, the projection of the subject beyond the window. 10 from me and my pick for Blue. |

Fresh Snowby timfythetooComment: Excellent composition and contrast treatment. I actually has the look of a great B&W... The little color there is actually enhances the image. The shape of the trees focuses the interest on the figure, and the trail in the snow adds just the perfect finishing touch. 10 from me and my personal Yellow ribbon. |

Railroad Bridgeby djhockmanComment: This one has a "feel" that I can't really explain why... Reminds me of great photography of 30 years ago, and whenever that happens I find myself voting high (9 from me). I guess it's a combination of the composition, the broken line which I find meaningful plus a very god contrast treatment. |

The Maestroby classycamComment: This is such a deep shot that can be interpreted in so many ways... The gloves, the B&W contrast, the color parts, the face expression, the face paint... All of them so interesting, yet working together so well. |

Ascendingby GiorgioComment: Excellent composition, zig-zag lines that create dynamism, balance the image at the same time and make the eye explore. The subject makes the perfect counter-punch to the rigor of the lines.Very good image, |

Hide Your Coloursby SureShotsComment: One of the most expressive shots in the challenge. I am guessing it will be voted down on lack of sharpness and clarity of the subject, but good photography is so much more about emotions and feelings than clarity! 9 from me. |

Bridge Over Troubled Watersby docurrieComment: I like your composition and "framing" a lot. 8 from me. I just think that a little bit more contrast treatment to make the bridge darker and contain the image better would have worked well. |

Ideopsis Juventaby DudskiComment: Great choice of subject - nature's beauty is unsurpassed, seems that's true in B&W too! 8 from me. |

Growing Old Togetherby HipychikComment: I think you've treated your subject very well through your composition and contrast with the tree, underlining its impact and character. |
