Nice colors and textures on the pear but I'm not sure about the BG color. It's not the same color as the pear but the same tonal range so it lacks a bit of impact. Having read your cheese comment though, I can't ask too much if you were just having a picknick (not sure it spells like this). You're not going to carry BG fabric around - just in case ;)

Looks like a papaya to me... I have seen paw paw trees in South Virginia (USA) but the fruits were small and green and unripe. I never would have guessed it looked like this inside. And I agree with you: the contrast of the orange flesh and the back seeds is very effective !
