First of Springby AndyLeeG4Comment: I think the shot would have benefited if the buildings could have been avoided. Love the colors. |

Meltingby AgehallComment: The water seems kinda dull and the ice seems to be getting too much light. Good idea, but poorly shot. |

Home Improvementby ssComment: Transition, at least for me, implies motion and a sense of being temporary. I don't see that in this picture. It's a good contrast between new and old, but nothing transitory about it. |

Turningby zerplordComment: Good shot, though the colors on the left and right are washed out by the direct sunlight. You might try this same shot at a later time in the day. I think it would yield a better overall shot. |

Bloomingby vaquerosComment: Right idea, but by not putting the bud in focus, you lost the message of transition. I can't help by look at the sunflower as being the subject and everything else as being the background. The background is adding very little to the message. |

'Reclamation' - Transition of Sea into Landby mdevosComment: This is not a good subject to convey your point of transforming ocean into land. There's only ocean and no land or a beginning of what might look like land. As far as I can tell, the black stuff can be oil or smoke. |

Day and Nightby StillwatchComment: Why so grainy? This picture is dominated too much by black. The shapes in the horizon added to the picture, but not the huge black cloud. I notice what looks like an oil-rig in the background. Did you try a shot with just the rig and the sunset? I have seen many great shot in magazine like that. |
