Critique Club Critique
(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) – Well constructed; fits challenge well. My only criticism would be on how busy it all looks. I’d like to see some other variations, especially with shallow DOF to show only a couple of spools, with the rest in the background and slightly out of focus.
(2) BACKGROUND – Though small, the black background sets off the subjects very well.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL – Very good close up. Good DOF to bring everything into focus. Lighting looks good to me.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL – Well done. I see nothing to change.
(5) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO – Well executed, but very busy. Nothing here to “wow� the viewer, as others indicated.

The best "Blue" without the color. Probably the best here the more I look at it. Just an outstanding composition and use of lighting, set off by the b&w. 10

Good idea. I think it should have been cropped a little more, though. And you should have slid right a little so the street light did not obscure the name of the place.
