Obviously this shot didn't tickle the pallete of most DPC voters, that's too bad. I think it'a nice photgraph and you did a good job processing. I know this isn't a difficult effect to achieve and should be used sparingly, but I think you picked the right time to use it. It's simple! :-) My only wish is that it was bigger! As is, it would make a terriffic postage stamp.

Anyway, nice shot, thanks for submiting it.

This shot was taken with a ~3 second exposure. I began with my hands on the piano and about half way through the shot, quickly removed my hands from the scene. It took some expiramenting to get the "transparancy" right.

This is a nice image, one of my top. Good choice focusing on the topic of your title. Your light source dramatically brings out the texture in the wooden board and pieces. My only criticism is that the tone is maybe a bit too warm.
