Top Flightby wwjdwithcaComment: Excellent shot, great portrayal of Action. I think the only thing to improve this would be to make it a little more realistic - at least don't show the point of the tee. Cutting the tee off at the bottom would make it look like at least it could be set up somewhere. Still, a 10 from me. |

Aerial Assault by moodvilleComment: This is the best of the bird shots in this challenge. You almost captured an emotion of the bird here. Good job! 10. |

Fountain of Youth by dsa157Comment: This is a great idea. Did you use a flash to "freeze" the water that way? Your lighting and composition and focus are right on the money. I hope this makes top 5! 10 from me. |

Break! by wingyComment: Definitely one of my favorites of the challenge. I love the crispness of this shot, and the obvious action. Nice break, by the way! 10. |

Drive yourself furher..by jonpinkComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
This is a great idea. The composition (centered) is perfect for this type of poster. Your idea matches well with your text, and your flash has obviously done it's job well, as the lighting and exposure are nice.
Honestly, I agree with some of the comment below about the arrows. I admit that it is nice to have something there to break up the plain composition, but the arrows confuse me. Why are they there? Why do they curve the way they do, and why do they point backwords? Why does one of them cover up the runner's hand? (By the way - his hands are not in correct position for the starting of a race.)
Overall, this is a strong image and a strong quote.

Carry me....by beachhopprComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
This is a great idea for this challenge. It shows creativity. I wonder how you got away with taking pictures at the Ballet!? Anyway, I agree with a couple of the comments below that it is a little dark in some areas, which caused it to be a little soft as well. However, I think your composition and colors are fantastic.
Very well thought out. Congratulations!

Harp Carolby sagestudioComment: Excellent use of a shallow depth of field. I think your plane of focus is very well placed on that front finger, and the colors are nice, as well. Nice! |

This shot did fairly well, and I can see why. Black and White was a good choice for this, as it really brought out the simplicity. Perhaps the contrast/lighting made the image a little flat, keeping it from reaching the "6" mark.
I think the composition is perfect. I like how you have the trees in the front like that.
Congratulations on a great shot!

Yes, I Have Money; Now What?by librodoComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Personally, I thought this shot should have done much better. I love the vibrant colors here, and I love the motion blur even more. One thing I find sort of interesting is the little girl in the upper right of the composition - challenge topic aside, she is really the mystery of this shot for me.
I guess people wanted to see the flowers and such in focus, which could have been nice. However, you have done an excellent job of processing and composing your shot.
