Convergenceby t_onlineComment: This is a good idea but you need a more extreme angle of view because the lines aren't actually converging at this POV. In fact, they are barely converging at this point. |

vanishing islandsby sirenaComment: This shows a horizon line but it does not show a vanishing point. There should be parallel lines converging at an invisible point in the distance. Your horizon is a bit tilted. |

ladder, window, doorby ellamayComment: Wow, this is a brave submission. Not the kind of image that DPC voters generally go for. I like it. It has a simple, abstract quality. I really enjoy the repeated shape of the mouth of the tunnel in black and white. |

PGA Practice Round One, Whistling Straitsby mnastComment: This shows a horizone but it doesn't really show a vanishing point. I should be seeing parallel lines converging at some point in the distance. It's an interesting photo though. |

Aussie Bluesby garrywhite2Comment: I have an Aussie with mottled blue/brown eyes. I wish I could get a good shot of her eyes but even at the age of 9 she's a bit of a spaz. This is an interesting photo but I would like to see more of the dog's face. Just this view of the pale eye and the surrounding skin is rather creepy looking. |

Gateway to SDSUby CDSComment: I find there is too much blurry, bland foreground for this to be a successful photo. |

In between the cloudsby GisliBComment: Try as I might, I'm not seeing converging parallel lines. It is interesting to see clouds from this perspective but I don't find this a compelling photo. Sorry. |

Looking up - it's a building. Yes, they are parallel lines.by yael27Comment: I find this kind of dull. The black and white looks drab (I suggest using your level adjustments set to Red or Blue to get richer tones in your grays). It's overexposed at the top. A little less exposure and you would have had more dramatic contrast in the area of shadow and the area in sunlight. |

Light Vanishing Into The Night Skyby sharveyComment: I'm not really seeing converging parallels in this shot. The light beam doesn't appear to be converging at a vanishing point so much as just disappearing into the clouds which is not the same thing. |
