	big fat cold dark shadow by goc Comment: Very dramatic. I think the shadow would have more impact if this were in color though.

	Simple Sepia Shadows by Rae-Ann Comment: I think you need a bit more contrast between shadow and background. The shadow isn't really the main impact of this photo. My eye is immediatly drawn to the door and the pattern of bricks and then the pipe.

	"Mess with me ...Mess with my big brother." by coolblue Comment: The title is kind of hokey for the subject matter but that is neither here nor there. This is okay but it doesn't really grab me.

	And the Light Emerged from His Hand by palmero Comment: There is shadow in this shot but it doesn't seem to be the main visual element.It's there because of the time of day. The sunset and the light emerging from the guy's head seems to be the focus of this image.

	Dinner? by TonyT Comment: This is dark but it doesn't really seem to make a visual statement about 'shadows'. It's more of a humourous take on the garden sculpture and the toy. The idea just isn't gelling into a good photograph for my taste.

	A barrel of fun by Bolti Comment: I like the surreal quality of this. I can't quite get a handle on the proportions of things. I initially thought the barrel was an old tin can. I like the vintage, rustic colors.

	Sunset Rust by BlueZamia Comment: I think you needed to stop down your exposure a bit to get a more contrasty capture of the shadow. It doesn't make much of an impact with this somewhat overexposed shot.
