Ornamentsby banmornComment: This is very interesting and suggests quite a bit of thought and planning. I think I would like this better if the top were cropped to eliminate the edges of the chicken wire (if that is indeed what this is). The empty space at the top and the jagged edges bother me. |

Honeymoon Purchase 1996-Crystal Ballby figmentComment: This is very busy. My eye doesn't know where to rest. There doesn't seem to be a lot of planning in the composition. I suggest isolating one or two standout ornaments and photographing them against the simple background of tree and lights. The star filter just adds to the confusion. |

Festive collars just right for the holidays.by BradComment: This is how an animal shot should be done. Great job! One of my favorites. The cat is gorgeous and his accessories look carefully chosen for color harmony. I really like the high key mood. |

Merry Xmas!by nico_blueComment: This was so beautiful! So clean, simple, and stylish My only 10 (I'm very stingy with 10s). I'm really surprised it didn't ribbon. Close though.
P.S. I just checked out your profile and discovered you spend some of your time in Providence. COOL! Message edited by author 2005-12-20 00:16:24. |

Looking at Santaby IceRockComment: This is a very nice candid portrait. However, the photo should speak for itself. The title is begging the viewer to overlook the complete lack of holiday elements in this image. This could just have easily been titled 'Looking at...a Bird...a UFO....Daddy"...you get the idea. |

This summer make it an Invitrex Pool.by lentilComment: Without the title this does not evoke a holiday spirit.Even with the title you are stretching the boundaries quite a bit. However, it is a very nice candid portrait. Too bad it fails to meet the challenge. |

caroling at university parkby permapierComment: The use of selective desaturation is not very effective in this photo. In fact it is very disturbing. The bright red lips and cheeks on the women give them very creepy and clownish appearance that doesn't appear intentional. |
