Oasisby BradComment: This is a nice crisp exposure. It is kind of a ho-hum view for me, although it does look like a beautiful place. Perhaps a slightly different angle or shallow er depth of field. It just looks a bit flat to me. I'm not quite sure exactly why (although I'm really leaning toward a different angle of view). |

Willby tateComment: Kind of a close crop to really be a clear example of city life but this does look like a city character. |

DIESEL for successful assby behemothComment: I like the naturalistic humor aspect of this shot. i wish it wasn't quite so faded and overexposed looking. It doesn't quite gel for me in the end. |

Nightime Travelsby pidgeComment: Nice. Not super original but it took some effort to achieve, I'm guessing. |

Trafficby SteveinnzComment: This looks very bustling. It might be a bit too cluttered to really appreciate. I think more of the problem for me is the somewhat faded looking color. I'd really love to see the color of that green building in the distance popping, for example. Also the yellow of those cabs (?) could be much more saturated. |

Pushed to the City Limitby dw_photoComment: Very nice! I like the concept of viewing the city from the outskirts. I like the way the curvy lines of shrubbery lead the viewer into the skyline. Great effort! |

Ligths in the cityby armandusComment: Egads this is too small. It's too bad because it looks like it might be a fun blur of traffic lights. Please take advantage of the 640 pixel max next time.
It is too hard to evaluate such a small shot. |

Darwen Tower, 2005by e301Comment: I like this shot on its own. I love her goofy earmuffs and her un-self-conscious expression. I kind of wish there feet weren't cropped out. Although I'm sure it speaks volumes to the photographer about his/her parents it really doesn't speak to me about motherhood. It's refreshing you didn't try to shoehorn the photo with a leading title. |
