Grandma's Crossby katlynComment: This shot is pretty fuzzy. I wouldn't call this dead center. I'm trying not to be a stickler but the main focus of the cross would be the cross bar. That is the element that should be dead center but you've placed it in the corner. |

center of the soulby fstopopenComment: That weird thing on the eye is disturbing but not in a good way. It's just creepy. Sometimes simple is best. Just the eye would have been fine. |

A "Shift" Back to the Pastby tfarrell23Comment: This is a nice shot in terms of sharpness. You've got the gear shift pretty dead center (I'm not measuring). But I don't know....it's a car interior and the main focus is the gear shift? The sepia tone was a good choice in terms of helping to tone down the visual clutter. |

Lost Childhoodby NeuferlandComment: Nice effort but this just says to me, "Baby carriage in the middle of a field". The baby carriage without the baby is not interesting enough to be a main visual element, no matter what you title the picture. |

Flourishby garrywhite2Comment: I like the dancer's expression, the focus and color are good. But there is too much clutter going on to really appreciate this shot. The guy playing that hammered string instrument directly behind her is the worst distraction. If you could have placed yourself at some point where you would see less going on behind her it would have helped. I would suggest cropping this shot really tightly and Photoshopping out the guy's white shirt and you'll have a really nice shot. |

'Bee'ing in the Centerby skiefComment: The evergreen branch makes a very distracting background for the bee. This is a visually cluttered shot. |

Candleby DufusComment: I would have appreciated this more if most of the candle rim had not been out of focus. The flame doesn't appear to be as sharply focused as it could be. |

Sweet & Sourby Brooklyn513Comment: Would have been much better with a different background. You might consider an inexpensive light box (you can get them in craft stores for about $15) for shots like this. Another option would be some good colored paper. The composition is quite nice and the lighting is not bad. A little lower and you would have shown a little more form to the mound of sugar. |
