Trees in Fog - Week 5

Funny about your note. When I saw this picture, I thought "Dance of the Trees" would make the perfect title. Those are lovely specimens full of character.

I think you did a good job editing it. The b/w tones are nice and rich and I like the line of trees. You could try shadow/highlight adjustment to lighten your foreground, stream and some parts of the that major tree on the left - like the root area with pebbles around it. You may like it, you may not. :) The trunk/root on that tree looks awesome by the way. I'd try a dramatic, low angle/upward full tree shot on that one with some of the stream in the foreground leading up to it - either early morning or late afternoon, when the sun hits it nicely.
