Goldenby harmsusmcComment: I gave you an eight earlier.
I would not have guessed that he was in the special olympics, but because of his headwear, I did assume there was swimming involved. I've always enjoyed that.
=)
I like this because your model actually accomplished something rather than pretending to accomplish something to gain the same shot. It's genuine.
During voting, I noticed that you have the medal in color which ties into the title and makes sense. The swim cap and goggles would have looked odd in black and white, so it's good that you have them in color too. Just, everything that could have been done right was done right and I'm shocked that you didn't end up higher for this. It's a fantastic shot and shows great achievement. Well, I like it. |

Night Birdby CEJComment: I'll have to comment on the fact that you took a picture of some tiles rather than on something else. If you constructed this bird, then good job, but stick to traditional means of photography.
If someone else constructed this bird, I sure hope you're crediting them somehow in the image details..
The only reason I don't like it is because it's a picture of a picture. It just doesn't seem very original to me. |

Alone in a Crowdby thomaspeopleComment: If he's in a crowd, how is he alone?
The image is very grainy and noisy.
I can see some of your black and white seeping onto the rings, and this looks like another case where things were put in color just for the heck of it. If you had put the man completely in color, it would have been different. |

Husky: the Native of Arcticby junior_zComment: If it's a siberian husky, it's native to Siberia.
If it's an Alaskan husky, it's native to Alaska..
Anywho.. Great job. I'm seeing alot of blue eyes this challenge, but I like the way that these eyes aren't sickeningly over saturated. Looks very natural, but still very professional. Nicely done.
I'll give you a nine. |
