A novel and different approach to the challenge, full marks for originality, I just wonder if it may have been more powerful the other way round, you know usual exterior and you find a mono and extremely vexing mono core. That way you would have a greater contrast with your background. Just my thoughts for what they're worth, good luck

this really looks weird, makes the tomato look not really tasty, but I keep looking.

I'm mildly grossed out by the gray skin and red center. It's just unnatural. However, I like the juiciness of the center.

VERY interesting idea!! I think it need some more contrast and might need to be just a tad brighter, but otherwise this is really cool. :)

Interesting. Nice texture on the inner tomato, but the outside looks very plastic.

Very good idea but somehow just doesn't work, mainly due to how clear the line is between color and desat plus the texture (outside the tomato) is somewhat strange.

I think a bit underexposed, but I like the effect of leaving the skin gray. Pretty cool. 7
