This leaves me wondering what it would have looked like in color. There doesn\'t seem to be enought dynamic range for it to work well in b&w. Beyond that, I like it. Nice and sharp, good DOF.

Would have worked better for repetition if all three subjects were in focus. As it is, it's a nice shot, and an interesting composition. I think shooting from a bit more to the right might have lined the birds up better though.

Neat idea. Lightings a bit harsh, and the color's kinda washed out.

I suspect you'll have a tough time with this title. I wouldn't have recognized the reference if I hadn't done a google on desolation this afternoon and turned up several hits on the song. And, to be honest, even having read the lyrics, I'm not sure I get the link with this shot, but I don't really know the song that well, so maybe it's just me. The picture is OK, but I don't get a strong sense of desolation from it. Composition is decent, focus is good, B&W is OK but predictable.

Great expample of where the "lines" don't have to be so obvious, but the right angles really jump out. Sharpness and lighting are good. Well done.

Too much maybe... The jango tower by itself, with a blank or uncluttered background would have been stronger. This image has a lot of "warring" lines and angles, which leaves it a little muddled looking. Nice idea that I think you made too complicated. Focus and lighting are so-so.

Colors are nice. Composition is a bit messy. I'll give it a "just barely" on the challenge, because I think the vertical lines are the strongest aspect, not the angles. But they are there.

Its DVD night! I think a deeper DOF would have made a stronger image, but maybe that's just a matter of taste. I also thing a little higher angle would have added strength to the angles. An OK idea, I just think it needed a little more work.

Sorry, I don't get it. If there's a purpose to your hand and whatever your holding, besides making a right angle, I don't understand. The lighting's a bit dull and the focus is so-so. Composition might be OK, if I understood the concept.
