Why leave the drops on the glass? They seem to me to clutter up the "simple" composition. The lighting and colors are nice; the focus is interesting.

Title should have been... simpler. :) Don't force the theme down the viewer's throught - "Discarded" would have been sufficient and much more effective. The idea of the leaf, the detail of the photo and the lighting (and shadows) are all good. The composition could have been improved by a different placement of the leaf in the frame - closer, farther away, more to the top seems like it might have worked better to me. Overall, I like it.

A little dark, but my only real complaint is the compostion - moving everything to the right would have let the center be focused on the forks, which seem to me to be the point of interest. Other than that, well captured, great idea - I like it.

But who'll save you from your god? Nice simplicity, but what is it, a bean? I think it would have been more effective with the subject closer to the bottom third line, "horizon" in the center.
