Pollenate Meby PerfectShotComment: Love the shallow depth of field here... Good macro comp. I also like that you didn't over edit the bee and flower and over sharpen it. That being said, I do wish the bee and flower were a little more in focus. Tough one to vote, because I tend to lean more towards these images that don't look like they were edited. 5 |

Burnby stoleruComment: I like the coloring of the sky in this. Smooth. Good concept that works with your title. To critique, I don't think the image is really outstanding compared to a lot of others. May would've worked well if were cropped portrait on the right side with the sun in the lower/center of the frame. That way we'd get the sun "burning" through the leaves dominating the frame, with the nice, creamy sky above. |

Into the Great Wide Openby dkentComment: I love the detail in the sky on this. And the image with the gates works well I think. However, it doesn't look smooth between the ground and sky. Hard to explain, almost looks like maybe the sky has more detail and contrast than the ground??? This is the 3rd time i've looked and can't figure it out. tough one to vote... 6 |

Reflections of yesterdays dreamby WeefanComment: Too bad it wasn't advanced editing so you could take out those power lines. I like the contrast between the red buildings and the yellow/green foilage. Critiquing, i'd like to see maybe a wider angle, with a little more sky in the reflection in the water...and for some reason the image feels weighted to the left (like it's not level)... That being said, I also like that it doesn't look edited. |

Clouds over the Prairiesby artvetComment: Nice shot. I like the drama here. ...and the way the eye is drawn to the near tree, then to the distance with the other two. Good detail in the clouds and field grass without "overdoing" it. This is one of my favs for this challenge. And, lastly, I would expect to see this somewhere on a calender, or magazine ad. Good job. |

Composition of Land and Skyby FocusPointComment: I like the sky in this... however the image almost seems too weighted to the right... like it's missing something in the distance on the mid-left. Maybe a wider shot with a little more of the tree on the left would help this. That being said, I do like that you didn't butcher it with editing (I see no sharpening lines anywhere) I like the detail in the leaves on the left, and the colors look natural. |

Glacierby agrimaceComment: That's pretty sweet. You've giving us a view of something most of us will probably never see with our own eyes. I find myself wanting to keep looking, and wishing I could be there to see it. Nice frame & comp - just wish it were a bit clearer, but i'm guessing it was probably a bit foggy or hazy? Tough one to vote, because even with the haze, I still want to keep looking. 7 |

Rockies in morningby silverhawkComment: Nice shot. You did a great job with composition - the slanted lines give a good idea of distance from you and the mountains in the distance. I also like the natural coloring. Only critique is I wish it were a bit clearer. |
