Fence Cableby marissaphotoComment: It's a bit distracting to have two distinct areas in focus - I find my eye jumping from the cable to the wood on the left and back. Perhaps changing the focal plane so it aligns more with the cable might help? |

Untitledby Cehrli20Comment: I'd never have thought of doing a negative image to make the unlit side of a fence and the shadow into focal points. Very creative. |

Detroitby pamelasueComment: Nice, bleak cityscape - the razor wire is essential to set the mood. |

Fence in her rebellious spiritby shoggyComment: Nicely lit and shot - but the challenge does say that it refers to physical, actual fences so maybe the image has strayed away from the subject set? |

A Winter Sunsetby wali12Comment: Nice idea - but having the strong colour at the top tends to drag my eye there, rather than to the interesting fence pattern. |

Old Parks Canada fenceby Len ScapComment: Great winter scene and just a pity that the sun wasn't just bit bit further 'round so that it highlighted the front of the fence posts. It's never in the right place for me either - if it ever comes out at all! |

hung up to dryby meyersComment: Well spotted image. It's almost a pattern shot (rectangular fence posts versus the curves of the plant). A shade less depth of field to blur the backround greenery perhaps? |

Nature's Glowby bigfellaComment: Nice composition, great expression and good depth of field control. Maybe the face needs a touch more light on the right hand side or possibly the lightest fill-in flash to get the highlight in the eyes and to bring the dress forward in the picture. My main concern is that given the challange subject, the child is most important element of this photo and the fence is somewhat secondary. |
