I am sorry, this is not a group portrait. This is a picture of people on the street, they are in no way a group. On top of that, I think the picture is a bit messy and lacks a clear focal point (4)

Simple but effective idea. I think you should have aimed a little higher to get rid of the counter. Furthermore, the 2nd guy ont right is a little ill-lit. 5

mmm, not quite sure why it scored so low, despite the 24 (!) comments. The shallow DOF seemed to disturb some, but one commenter even liked it. Composition is not great, with hindsight, I think cropping below to get a square picture would have been better.

Maybe I underestimated the effect of people feeling this did not meet the Challenge or maybe many people dind't get or like the interpretation?
