I am afraid the picture lacks a clear focus (both in sharpness and in composition), and I think in the case of a portrait, the focus should be on the person(s) portrayed. Colours are a bit dull. (4)

Whenever I see groups like these, I wonder why they book tours like this. These tour guide groups never look happy or excited. Come on guys, this is your holiday, you might as well enjoy it! And you just captured this wonder of mine so nicely. I like the b/w conversion as well. (8, edit: a 9 on second thought)

I am not too enthousiastic about this one. The mic stand and the director are standing in the way, and the dancers don't seem to be very synchronized. Picture itself is rather busy, my eyes keep wondering around for a place to find some rest. (4)

A day at the beach

Nice family portrait. I especially like it that you did not take the picture exactly from the front of the family, it adds some depth to the picture. I don't like the familt being partly in the shade. I'dd rather see them in the shade entirely, or in the sun. Now their faces are pretty dark relative to their white sun-exposed shirts. Furthermore, there is a 'thingy' in your image (right below) (5)
