The Bookwormby OdysseyF22Comment: Nice concept and very good lighting. Besides, I have the hots for intellectual women. But I get the strong impression that the focus is on the galsses rather than the eyes. |

Goin' to the Chapel...by slide12345678Comment: I think this is a great pic of the chapel, but what are these people doing in front of it?
Seriously, if you put this amount of environment around a portrait, make sure that ligthing, composition or both lead the eye of the viewer to your main subject. Having the couple lit with a remote strobe (2 maybe?) for instance might have helped. |

Shift workerby IreneMComment: Great pic, very subtle black on black, great lighting and facial expression. I would have liked a little more environment though, this might as well be a studio shot. |

The Road Warriorby TygerPawzComment: You made me smile. Very good concept and so familiar. Well composed and nicely lit. Some motion blur outside the window to suggest speed would have been a great bonus, but I can think of a dozen reasons why not to. |

Blue superiority.by ShookMishukComment: I don't get it. I can relate to this angle with the blue sky, and that would make the title fit wel, but I don't realy get the connection. What's more important, I think the face could use more light. A fill flash or maybe some kind of relection of available light would have made this a much better portrait. |

Young Piperby BrennanOBComment: Very good picture. I like the composition and the contrast and colors. Very effective use of DOF to make the guy stand out. |

The Farmerby onarComment: That's a pretty good way of portraying a farmer, I like it. Would have been even better if the front of the farmer had been given a little more light. This is one of the rare instances where an on board flash might actually be useful. |

Ten Pin Tunnel Visionby trevytrevComment: Nice shot, I like the overall feel of the pic and these lines are definately leading. I am a bit in doubt about the wide angle. Ont he one hand, it does seem to fit the setting very well. On the other hand, it destroys the detail in the pins.
Apart from that, I am not a fan of any desaturated brownish PP. |
