I obviously have a great weakness at conveying a message in a photograph. But it is actually the peg that is broken. At the age of 13, I did not have a trusted adult who would take me to get it fixed or pay to get it fixed. I was just trying to figure out a way to do this, and I failed. But I feel like I've learned a lot, again. Hope this explains a little.

I don't know why, but I find it interesting that there are shoes for sale behind her, and she has to wear the special velcro shoes. Don't know if this was intended...but it adds interest, for me, at least.
