Serving Girlsby meneleComment: I'm intrigued ... what is that waitress thinking there? She seems preoccupied. Where's that dang Maltese Falcon when you need it?
(Nice light on her face, and a good grainy B+W to fit the feel of your story ...) |

Buy One Get Oneby QuigleyComment: Now that one is the funniest of the bunch! Too too funny how they just blacked out the "Free" in the sign ... youlda thunk they'd black out the whole phrase. Maybe they just want to remind you that there is no such thing as a free lunch in your town! |

I'd Sooner Grow Old Then Turn Greenby QuigleyComment: You could have titled this one "Soylent Green"! Too too funny again. This is also a cool photograph. The reflections and muted colors make an interesting background to the funny sign. |

Who you Gonna Call???by QuigleyComment: That sign looks like its been there a long time too. Another funny pic ... and we get to see you reflected in the window glass as well! The meters are a nice foreground touch. |

For Goodness Sake Come and Get Some!!!by QuigleyComment: Too funny! Now tell us you didn't plant that sign there. ;>P Seeing that makes me miss winter a lot less ... I spent 10 years in Colorado, 3 of them in a house at 8500' elevation where I had to shovel a path through a looooooooong and steeeeeeeeeep dirt driveway by hand whenever it snowed like this ... and it did that a lot! I'm hoping the sun comes out for you soon. |

Doorsby KenComment: Nice carry through from view finder to final image. The B&W works well here. Would help if you cropped out that sidewalk line in the front; plays a trick of the eye to make me think the image needs rotating to the left, but looking closer I see it doesn't. That's an interesting old door. Would make a nice addition to a photo collection or triptych of doorways.
Thanks for joining the walkabout again. Nice group of images, and a nice window into your corner of the world. |

Buildingby KenComment: Nice juxtaposition of old and new there at the top, and that bright blue polarized sky adds a nice contrast to the pic. |

Spaceshipby KenComment: Interesting filter, and a nice image to go with it. Now this is truly taking something ordinary and making it extra-ordinary! Nice find on your walkabout. |

Mexican Love Triangleby KenComment: LOL -- funny juxtaposition of the sign. Too bad you couldn't get the three of them dancing on the ledge in front of the sign. ;>P |
