No more Fruit and Vegitables, as I am now in the kitchen, and using quite small items to photograph

Most of these kitchen items will be "What am I" series, and I love you to let me know what you think I have actually photographed.

When you guess right, I will then title each Item with what it is.....

Yes, is is a very tiny minature grater found only in specialiased kitchen shops.

It is cone shaped and only about 3 inches tall, with the knob at least 1 inch of that.

Thats why with my new macro lens we see a lot if DOF around the focused area.

Enjoy.....

I am playing with images with minimal effect, using a negitive approach, without using the "invert" method.

Another great kitchen shot. You have truly inspired us. I can't believe what you have done to create such beauty with such simple everyday items.

I love your new approach. These would make a great serie to print for a kitchen decoration. I like all the lines in this image.

Very nice macro Sher. Love the contrast in this and the fact we don't see any reflections in between the grates.

meat tenderizer? I like the flow of the diagnol (sp) lines. I'm not sure if its the PP or just the shiny chrome, but the focus seems a little odd?

Very nice! Looks like small diamonds, but I don't suppose you use those in the kitchen.

Thinking about the things I use in the kitchen...... Noop, no idea.
So a blind guess: holes in a colander?

Yep, I would guess a cheese grater too. Or maybe a zester? nice shot, lovely silver tones, and deep black background works perfectly here.

Nice shot! Is it a grater of some description?
