Canyon Deep

Nice subject, I'm sure, but a difficult one to capture on film. There's no clear center of attention in the image, and the tree on the far bank blends into the background a bit much. I'd suggest moving around the subject a bit more and changing your angle of view (don't care for the shooting down into the canyon look, imho), but that was probably difficult given the topography.

Nice scene. You might consider moving the horizon lower or higher, depending on whether you want to capture the clouds or the landscape ... as it is, I found the two elements competing with one another

Interesting cloud formation, but the picture strikes me as little more than a snapshot imho. The interest here is in the clouds, but not necessarily in the way it was photographed. A longer lens or a tighter crop would have helped.
