10 Green Fingersby jonpinkComment: I think this was intersting work, especially for a first-time effort at 'studio' lighting Jon. I'd have filled it from the right a touch more, and probably have lost the rear-most pot, which was just over-egging the pudding a touch for my own taste. Gave it a 6 at the time though, but never commented. |

Casino Colorsby tfarrell23Comment: This has to be one fo those shots that is so bizarre it's not fake. Certainly meets the challenge, but I think a number of people are going to do you down for being too strange. |

At Night The Silent Monks Returnby boomerComment: Good eye. Would dearly love to see something done about the noise in the blue here, but I appreciate your dilemma with the black umbrellas and any kind of darkness. |

voodoo: getting out of the spellby KiraComment: Intersting cropping and composition. A sense of dried staw in that light painting, somehow, which also somehow seems apt to the image. Neat work. Has a sense of 1970's design to it also. |

Brightby rockfishComment: ahem. So much flash that it's difficult to tell if there actually is another light source. Obviously you've done this deliberately, from your title, but I don't find anything of interest here. |

Sun v. Sodium - There Can Be Only One!by mpburtonComment: Like the exposure here - the controlled blowing out of the highlights from the sun really add impact to the sense of suffusion of light through the space. In my experience people will comment on that as a bad point, but don't believe them - it's a fascinating and useful trick, well pulled off here. |

Lepidopteraby dadas115Comment: Wonderful macro - great sense of the fragility of the wings here, and the curl of its proboscis (sp?) . Great detail, good light. More than one source? It isn't clear, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt I suppose. |

π (Pi) light sourcesby zirkovicComment: Good work on a difficult capture, and an extraordinarily still moment. Good colours. A bit of a push to get into the challenge criteria, for which you lose a mark or two from me - I'm not saying it's outside it, but you're pushing the limits too hard for my taste. 6 |

Moonlight Isn't Enoughby artvetComment: Inclusion of the little camera sign makes me smile. Like the composition, the rooting of the whole image in bottom left, spreading acros the frame. colouration is good, though I'm not sure about the extent of your processing - a personal preference, but then, a personal vote. |

Cyclohexane Chicby pjterrellComment: Dang - this was a Benzene Ring when I studied chemistry. Kind of like the effect, but don't find much of great interest in the shot. DOF helps to give some idea of the three-dimensionality of it, but works against any visual 'magic' for me. |
