I love the image; perhaps feels a tiny bit shoe-horned into the theme by placing a red background on a non-red composition. Still, I love macro shots and this one is above average. Well done overall.

I'm not sure where the caption came from, but I like it. If you twist your head to the left it looks like one of those gowns that the flamenco dancers wear in south america. Nice one.

Cheeky (literally!) My only criticism is the lighting, it's a little murky and directionless - subjective (I tend to like stronger shadows, particularly for studies like this one). Nice overall, well done.

Superb angle, unfortunately the subject is just blurred enough that I found it difficult to see clearly what I was looking at. Love the concept... perhaps need to desaturate the reds just a tad, they're a bit overblown. Nice work.

Most of the problems with this shot are technical... high noise and quite generous DoF, which I put down to limitations of the camera. The pink blotches on the bark are a bit distracting too, not sure if they are intentional or formed part of the original image but they look like processing artefacts. Happy looking critter though :)
