Some serious color noise in this shot.

Birds are so difficult to capture well. It's nice that the cardinal is sharper than the branches but it's not sharp enough and the background is very grainy.

Most of the problems with this shot are technical... high noise and quite generous DoF, which I put down to limitations of the camera. The pink blotches on the bark are a bit distracting too, not sure if they are intentional or formed part of the original image but they look like processing artefacts. Happy looking critter though :)
