Day ONEby TCGuruComment: Very dynamic. Has that "evil queen" vibe working. |

• Voyager •by Bear_MusicComment: Didn't get to vote on this challenge, but this would have been a high scorer from me. Excellent, raw self-portraiture. I think the title is great (if for nothing else that you didn't name it "windows to the soul"). ;) There is an abstract sense about this, that I think the title pulls out and plays with. The "weathering" of your face evokes an expansive, varied, and not always serene landscape. There is the sense of seeing the effects of your travels, as well as the paths themselves. Excellent work. |

Bromeliadby JeffDayComment: Saw this during the challenge and thought it was great. (Gave you and 8.) Still do. The score isn't bad, but unfortunately I think being a little off of "true red" (whatever) costs you some on the scoring. The light and the detail are what make this shot. Like the use of shadow at the center. |

T r a i nby JeffDayComment: This is great. Much more natural looking than most of the HDR stuff that shows up on DPC, but a nice surrealistic effect nonetheless. Really dig the vignetting, adds to the mystery and mood. Haven't tried this technique yet, as I tend to be partial to more naturalistic images, but examples like this make me reconsider. |

The Circle I Frequently Useby cassilda_terryComment: Meant to leave a comment before the challenged ended, but just wanted you to know that this was one of my favorites. (Gave you a 9.) Just a great example of taking a common object and using it to create a beautiful photo. |

Mama's Handsby elisabComment: The use of the negative here doesn't add anything photographically for me, and if it was meant to convey meaning metaphorically the meaning is not clear. |
