Yes, the camera and the model have a static relationship with each other, the camera does not need to be moved to follow the subject. They are essentially in their own fixed world with the background moving around them. :)


Ok. Who decided that this is not panning while following a subject from a stationary position is panning? No one explained me that.


I'm just saying what I would call it, others will have different ideas. :)

It's very well done, congratulations. I think if that was a real person in that water they wouldn't be able to stay astride the log without it rolling, they'd have to cling on instead.Not that it matters!!
