First Still Lifeby MinsoPhotoComment: Congrats on your new personal best! It is well composed and a really nice touch with the pineapple! I don't think anyone thought to include one. Unfortunately, it's split on which people like this style of processing and which don't. I'm having the same problem. I so want to use the processing but, I know it will bring my score down if I do. :( Congrats again on your new PB! I'm sure that you'll be hitting more and more of them from here on out! :)
ETA: BTW....to get a comment like that from Posthumous, you know that you're doing something right! :) Message edited by author 2010-02-01 10:47:28. |

Eleganceby digifotojoComment: This is an absolutely stunning shot, Jo! The clarity, the contrast and highlights, the cropping, masking...everything is beautiful!
ETA: I must find out (privately) how you got the petals over the border like that LOL! :) Message edited by author 2010-01-29 11:18:11. |

Latticeby colorcarnivalComment: HA....I didn't guess this was yours! I should have though by the processing, B&W and DOF LOL. It's a Colorcarnival "signature" piece. Beautiful Michelle! Love it and scored it high! :) Congrats on a higher placement in such a tough challenge. |

Rainy Day Raptor by trevytrevComment: Beautiful photo! I'm glad that it won a ribbon!
Just two questions that I "have" to know now LOL Was it rain or snow (my guess is rain given the background) and secondly, was this taken through a window? :) Just curiosity now. :) |

bengali girlby yankoComment: She is a beautiful model! The sharpness of focus towards her eyes and face and the softness of focus everywhere else works extremely well! |

Betel Nut Effectby jimboneComment: Betel nuts as false teeth...really? WOW! I didn't now that. Besides giving me a lesson here LOL...the shot is really a great shot and even the crop off the side works well. |
