Almost Goneby JPRComment: Fascinating image. I love the implied pattern that keeps my eye moving around the photo. I don't mind the bamboo being out of focus, but I wish the cheetah were a bit sharper. Very well composed! |

Treeby miracComment: While most photos have offered yellow objects, you have given us a yellow background, which originality I applaud. I like the sharp window panes contrasting the blurrier tree shadow. This photo works for me. |

Only a touch, the touch of life.by jjbeguinComment: Well framed and interesting. Though there is not much of it, yellow really is the theme here. It is very clear where to look, though I don't mind exploring with my eye, and it is very clear what I'm look at. Nice work. |

Old Door / Charleston, SCby pstuhrComment: A very nice photo for me. The yellow here acts as both an interest-catcher and a frame. The eye is endlessly pleased with all of the textures, which the yellow and your capture of light illuminate. Very nice work! A keeper. |

It wasn't me!by kiwinessComment: This photo is engaging and intriguing to me because of the patterns created and then upset at the left. The subtle shades of different yellows are also engaging. A subtle and well composed photo that says way more than "yellow." Nice work. |

Dark Side of the Appleby JackoComment: You follow the rules here, and the image works for me. Try this, put the apple in the upper left and light it from the bottom right (the opposite of how it is now). For me, this adds a sense of mystery to it, especially considering your title. |

Lemon Twist by karmatComment: Nice contrasts and shades of yellow. Seems a bit off balance, which is okay, but I don't see any reason why it should be. I love the use of blues beneath that provide lots of color interest here. |
