Country Life 1850by JakComment: I'd like to know where this is! I consult for a living history center here in Utah. Loads of fun. You capture them at work very nicely, though it is a tad busy for my tastes. Still, nice work. |

Work's Doneby ChrisW123Comment: I took a hay bale photo, too! But did not submit it. Yours is better. Nice composition/still life. Colors are very muted, that that's a field for you this time of year. Perhaps B/W may work well here, as colors seem of little significance and your emphasis is on the structures of the bales? Nice. |

Hillside Barnby buzzrockComment: Composition is good, but the light is so harsh. Too bad you couldn't have waited until sunset or so. Nice saturated colors. |

Black Cat on Black velvetby ladpupmoeComment: I like how the lighting makes the eyes shine and how it serves to subtly define the cat's body. Oddly, the low key lighting doesn't create or heighten the tone or mood of the photograph. Perhaps a different perspective or point of view would help. |

Controlby KonadorComment: Ominous title with the low key lighting! This appears to be a game controller of some kind? The lighting gives it definition and mood, but then it's a game controller, so the two don't quite match for me. Composition is interesting and suggests that this object is part of a larger environment. |

Ironmanby orussellComment: Low key lighting does add a bit of mystery to this object, as it seems very technology oriented, but I'm not sure what it is? |

Incenseby AntithesisComment: The lighting you do have here defines the holes of the object, but I'm still not sure what it is. Perhaps it's too low key! Oh well. Maybe a wisp of smoke would help? The off center composition seems effective at helping this object appear to be in a larger space. |
