Insects - Boring?by vtruanComment: Your black background makes this look like an alien on another planet. Cool. I wish the bug were more in focus or was clearer in some way, though. Super use of contrasts and light. |

Pewter bugby NatatorComment: I like how the pewter bug's tones match so well the tones of the leaves around it. Had you used the rule of thirds here, it would have gone far in implying the world around the bug, and enhance the illusion that this bug actually belongs here. |

Grasshopper Eyeby SwashbucklerComment: Talk about Macro! This one is really close, and that's fun. The photo lacks super clarity, but it certainly has some drama! |

eye of the dragonby cjadams1Comment: Okay, out of focus, sure, but the composition and lighting--especially on that left wing are so fabulous. Background is nice and unobtrusive. |

On the menuby NukktaComment: Tasty treats for some lizard no doubt? Nice lighting, and the patterns created by the eggshell-like carton are interesting. Perhaps more contrast or more stark lighting would add even more interest to this photo. |

Half & Halfby collinsjulComment: I like your idea here and how the insect mimics the duotone wooden background. |
