I'm not really feeling this, it's not the subject matter as I think that's more then fitting for the challenge, but it's lacking a mood that fits the subject. The noise goes some way but it could use either better lighting or black and white conversion, or a tighter composition to bring a bit more mood to the shot. Just my opinion of course

hahaha, that's fantastic! letterbox cropping works well, feels a little cramped but it's ok. Lacking enough detail for a top score but it's a great capture
