Boston 1-2-07-19-640 ( Cambridge at Night )by krglComment: I took this shot on the 50th floor of the Prudential building using a80-400 zoom lens at it's maximum zoom. I took the photo around 2 hours after sunset. I have an old fashion GOSSEN light meter that gave me an approximate exposure time of 36 sec ( my Nikon only goes up to 30 sec )
so I use the Bulb setting and took this shot on a tripod. |

Boston 1-2-07-6-640 ( Blackberries )by krglComment: I actually used multiple flashes ( 3 Nikon SB-800) maybe that's why it's so strong. Even behind the clouds, the sunlight was very bright that day and on top of that, the seed pods are near black in color.
I guess I could have photoshop it a bit and bring the brightness down
using selective destauration. Message edited by author 2007-01-04 08:28:16. |
