Odd2by lunachickenComment: Definitely not bad weather. There were hardly any clouds in the sky, no wind of any note. It was mildly cold (about 25°F). This was in Monte Vista, CO near the Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge. Google Map of where I was parked. |

Fogby lunachickenComment: This was early and the fog was really thick. I think they were just trying to stay warm. Hard to tell with these shots, but a good many of them were covered with frost from the humidity in the air and being still so long. And for my good fortune, too bothered with huddling up to make much of a fuss over me. |
