Tranquility on the estuaryby P-A-U-LComment: Your colors are great here! Strong, very rich but not over-done. The composition is just lacking a little interest for me. I think if I suggest that you move left or right to try to get a third boat into the shot, you may be limited by the end of the dock you are shooting from. I think if you were shooting from a kayak or something more mobile, You might have had an easier time positioning the shot. I hope this is helpful and not too critical. The technical aspects of the shot are excellent. |

Sitting idle by NeatComment: This is a beautiful rendition of “Boats” The watercolor sky is perfect. You’ve done a great job keeping the diagonal lines (ropes) from going jagged. This is excellent work! |

The Secret Garden by grahamgatorComment: This is an amazingly creative capture! I'm shocked that you've only received two comments on this so far. It's my favorite of the challenge. |

In search of redemption by markwileyComment: This is amazing work Mark!
When I look at the two (Forgive me) relatively ordinary photos that this was created from, Its simply inspiring to see what you are able to create with them. Remarkable!

I do like the old-world coloring you've used on this. |

Last Gaspby FromDaRockComment: This is great work Robin! It's great to see an "out-on-a-limb" type shot score well. |

the raceby scooter88Comment: A flying wilder beast! Who'd a thunk it? This is indeed art at it's finest! The image makes me laugh! it's a fantastic shot! I hope it does well in the challenge, but..... You know these voters are all so misguided. |

-by nickybComment: - That's it? That's your title??? :-) I love it!
I'm not sure what I'm looking at.. so, as good art performs... i see the things that relate to me... It looks like a golf club thrown into the water out of frustration. ... or maybe a fallen branch on a quiet morning, drifting away to the sunny side of the island. Its very simple... which makes it hard to hang on a wall. But the depth that it pulls from this viewer put's the score well above the average shot in this contest. High marks from me. Good luck in the challenge. |
